Great underwater camera Jul 23, 2010 I tested this camera to depth around 5 meters underwater.
Its performance was great and the quality of pictures looked like professional.
The LCD display is large enough to see under water. Also, camera controls are easy to handle while diving.
The amazing character is the quality of pictures at high zoom, super!
Also, the video quality is perfect.
I recommend this camera to any divers wether professional or amateurs.
Great Camera Jun 10, 2010 I bought this camera to take to Grand Cayman to use while snorkeling, it took great pictures. I was also very pleased with the great quality of the pictures I took out of the water.
I really like this camera.

Nice camera but cheap accessories Jun 09, 2010 I received this Kit a couple of weeks ago. First of all delivery was pretty quick. I loved the camera itself, I wanted to buy underwater camera as I like snorkeling and needed to make pictures underwater, my previous Sony DSC H10 could not do descent underwater pics (I used it with waterproof case). Canon's underwater mode is just beautifull. Now I'm playing with panorama pictures like it so far. As for the accessories I do not think that they are absolutely necessary. Floating strap is absolutely useless it supposed to be a safety devise in order not to loose the camera, but it's snap is made of soft plastic and won't hold so camera keeps falling down. Strap which is supplied with the camera much better. Leather bag looks and feels cheap. All my laptops have special slot for SD card so I found digital usb card reader quite useless too. Spare battery is a must buy. Memory card - must buy. Tripod very nice. The rest of accessories are not so necessary.
My overall opinion is that the camera is very nice!
Excellent underwater camera May 16, 2010 I'm satisfied with Canon D10 powershoot. The picture quality is awesome. I've take a lot of underwater pictures with this camera.

Canon PowerShot D10 Review Apr 10, 2010 Just got back from a vacation to Cozumel Mexico. I purchased this camera specifically for kayaking, backpacking and snorkeling where an easy to handle camera could be taken into a wet or even a marine environment. In Cozumel, the camera performed as expected while snorkeling. What I was very impressed with, was when I took the camera to "Columbia Reef" on a SCUBA diving trip. It worked well on this first dive to about 25 feet. I got good shot of an Eagle Ray at a distance, and a bunch of colorful fish and coral. Again, this is what I expected. I was going to put the camera away for the next dive. We were headed to the "Palancar Gardens". This dive was going to be to about 45ft and I knew the rated limit for the camera was only 33 feet. The dive master advised that he had seen these cameras much deeper and that I should consider taking it along. I'm glad I did, because this was a great dive. For the record, the camera was exposed to a depth of 53ft with no problems. I am not recommending that the 33ft stated limit be exceeded. What I am recommending is that this camera is an excellent choice for what I bought it for. I do not intend to take it deep like this again. But I now know that sea kayaking, surf photos and rainy backpack trips will not pose a problem for this camera.
