 Sturdy and compact Jun 24, 2010
The Vidpro MP-10 is everything it claims to be. Solidly constructed and sturdy enough to handle any camera I've seen even at full 27" extension length. The only limit is how much weight your arm can support. It retracts back to a compact 8" length for easy portability. It screws onto the universal threaded tripod connector under your camera and has a non-slip grip and a wrist strap just in case. The only con - this is my own fault for assuming things that weren't advertised - is that you have to set the self timer to use it. I mistakenly thought there was some button on it to activate the camera, though in retrospect I can't think of any way that's even possible. Anyway this device is a must for couples who like to have pictures that include you both without handing your camera over to a stranger in a strange land.

might be not very durable because the material is made but is very light, cheap and covenient with the same features that the expensive ones

This worked very well and was easy to use. The only problem I had was screwing it into the hole on the bottom of my camera. It sort of stripped some of the screw hole and I had to really push to get it into place. Once there, it was great. We were able to get everyone in the picture. It also is light enough to carry in my purse without it seeming too heavy.

This little gadget is wonderful. And, I love the fact that it fits in my purse. It was definitely a good buy.

This is so useful - especially for trips. It took a couple of tries to get the angle right, so that your arm doesn't show in the picture. Usually my husband and I have to wait for someone to appear to get them to take a photo of us together - not any more! I've also bought two for gifts and they're delighted with them, as they've never thought of getting one before.
