CRUCIAL MODIFICATION NEEDED Jun 24, 2010 "The protector would be more attractive if the edges were rounded or beveled." A criticism from another reviewer.
Absolutely correct!
A very good, essential product that could be better, if the raised, sharp rectangle edges were smoother, but I have a SOLUTION.
Simply use a non-metal nail file to smooth out the sharp edges; it then feels a whole lot better in your hands during use and in your pocket when you are walking around.
They might want to bevel it during the manufacturing process, but it could raise the cost of the item.
Fantastic product - super durable protection - not a film! Jan 04, 2010 I ordered 'da protector for my Canon SD that I travel with. As I wanted the convenience of slipping the camera into my pocket without the bulk of a case, I wanted to make sure nothing cracked the LCD. This protector is the best! A solid piece of acrylic, it protects your LCD from pressure and potential punctures. Easy to install if you are accustomed to working with small materials, don't let other reviews scare you away. Just be sure to read the instructions first, so you know what you are doing. I have been using 'da Protectors for 5 years now and will buy one for every camera I use in the future. Excellent product!

Leave your camera home without it! Sep 22, 2007 I've installed 3 of these on family cameras and now I don't worry about what could happen to the screens. I just installed a custom 67x52 mm protector on a Canon SD750 and posted a hint about how to do it at the daProducts website forum. If you order directly from daProducts rather than thru their Amazon store, they charge only $6 + $2 shipping. Installation, especially of a custom protector, requires steady hands and good eyesight, but the result is worth the grief. I recommend the picture tutorial at the daProducts website.

A must have for your canon Aug 14, 2007 Absolutely fantastic product, fast delivery and worth every penny, good seller. No complaints at all about the product, however the steps are not very easy, would suggest the seller to explain the details of the 'pink strip' since first timers wont come to know it is one more thin layer on the strip which has to be finally removed in order to stick cover on the LCD, this step should be clearly mentioned. Overall very satisfied
